1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to Seldrick Content Generator at content.seldrick.com (the “Service”). It covers the web application, content-generation features, uploaded media, scheduling tools, and connections to third-party social-media platforms.
In this Policy, “we,” “us,” and “operator” mean the operator of Seldrick Content Generator. This Policy does not govern a connected platform’s own handling of information after content is sent to it.
2. Information we collect
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account information | Email address, display name, user role, account status, authentication and session information. |
| Connected-account information | Provider name, provider account or channel identifier, Page/profile/channel name, username, avatar URL, connection status, granted authorization, and encrypted access or refresh tokens. |
| User Content | Prompts, captions, titles, descriptions, hashtags, images, videos, thumbnails, tags, brand instructions, drafts, and other materials you create or upload. |
| Scheduling and publishing data | Selected destinations, scheduled date and time, timezone, privacy/audience options, publishing status, provider post identifiers and URLs, processing results, and error messages. |
| Usage and security data | Login and administrative activity, IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, audit records, rate-limit events, and diagnostic logs. |
| Configuration data | Workspace preferences and settings for enabled social or AI providers. Provider application secrets are administrative configuration and are not intentionally exposed to ordinary users. |
We receive information directly from users, automatically from use of the Service, and from connected providers after a user grants authorization.
3. How we use information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to:
- create and secure user accounts and maintain signed-in sessions;
- connect authorized social accounts and show available Pages, profiles, or channels;
- create, store, organize, schedule, transmit, and publish selected content;
- send prompts and selected content to configured AI providers when a user requests an AI feature;
- check upload or publishing status, display results, and diagnose failures;
- prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, maintain audit records, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- maintain, troubleshoot, and improve user-facing Service features; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations and valid requests.
We do not sell personal information or connected-platform user data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, or sale to data brokers.
4. Connected-platform and API data
Facebook and Instagram
With your authorization, the Service may obtain your Facebook user identifier and a list of Pages you can manage, including Page identifiers, names, Page access tokens, and linked Instagram professional-account details. It uses this information to let you select destinations, publish posts or media, and read the status or engagement information needed to operate the publishing feature.
YouTube and Google
With your authorization, the Service may use YouTube permissions to identify your channel, upload videos and associated metadata, and check video processing or publishing status. It stores the authorization needed to continue scheduled publishing until you disconnect the account or access is revoked.
Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s own handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Users can review and revoke Google account access at Google Account third-party connections.
Other connected providers
For LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky, and any later-enabled provider, the Service processes the identifiers, profile/channel details, authorization credentials, media, post text, and publishing results needed for the feature the user selects. The exact data and actions are shown by the provider during authorization where OAuth is available.
We request platform permissions for user-facing connection and publishing functions. We do not use connected-platform data for independent advertising profiles or unrelated surveillance.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the Service, including encrypted storage for provider access credentials, secure transport over HTTPS, access controls, secure session settings, request-forgery protection, login rate limiting, and audit logging.
No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their passwords, restrict administrator access, use dedicated provider credentials where offered, and promptly disconnect any account they believe is compromised.
8. Data retention
We retain account data, connected-account information, User Content, schedules, and publishing history while needed to provide the Service or until deleted by an authorized user or administrator. Retention also depends on workspace configuration, operational needs, security, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations.
When a social connection is disconnected, its stored access and refresh credentials are cleared or made unusable so the Service cannot make new requests through that connection. Limited audit, security, diagnostic, backup, or legal records may remain for a reasonable period and are then deleted, anonymized, or overwritten according to operational cycles and legal requirements.
Deleting data from this Service does not delete copies already published to or retained by a third-party platform. Those items must also be managed through that platform.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your role and location, you may be able to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or request deletion of personal information. You can also:
- edit or delete eligible drafts and scheduled posts in the Service;
- disconnect a provider in the Social Accounts area;
- revoke access through the connected provider’s own security or integration settings; and
- ask the administrator to correct or delete your Service account and associated information.
We may need to verify your identity and authority over the account before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or the rights of others.
10. Data Deletion Instructions
Use the steps below to remove a connected account or request deletion of information held by Seldrick Content Generator.
- Disconnect the provider. Sign in to the Service, open Social → Accounts, choose the connected Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky, or other account, and select Disconnect. This stops future publishing through that connection and clears or disables its stored authorization credentials.
- Revoke access at the provider. You may also remove Seldrick Content Generator from the provider’s connected-app settings. For Facebook and Instagram, use Facebook’s Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations. For Google and YouTube, use Google Account third-party connections.
- Request full deletion. Ask the administrator through your signed-in account or the Service’s support channel to delete your user account and associated stored content. Include the email address used for the Service and the connected provider(s) you want removed. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or app secrets.
- Verification and completion. The administrator may verify your identity and authority. Once approved, the Service will delete or de-identify the applicable account profile, OAuth credentials, connected-account metadata, drafts, uploaded media, schedules, and publishing records, except limited information that must be retained for security, legal, dispute, or backup purposes.

11. Children’s privacy
The Service is a business content-management tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request children to create accounts or authorize access to their social-media data. If you believe a child’s personal information has been provided, contact the Service administrator so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, connected platforms, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will change when revisions are posted. Where required, material changes will be communicated in the Service or consent will be requested before information is used for a newly disclosed purpose.
13. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to the administrator through the signed-in Service’s account or support channel. The Service is available at content.seldrick.com.
